After making a name for herself in Mexican films El Hotel and Dos Veces Tú, and TV series Tanto Amor and Club de Cuervos, the Mexican actress and singer and Tish School of Arts alumni went on to appear in Starz's Mexican-American drama Vida, and Jon M Chu's adaptation of Broadway musical, In the Heights. However, it's her turn in the 1990s horror franchise which could make her a global name, with the film slated for a 2022 release.
